This has been a weird summer. It hasn't really felt like summer, except for the weather. Maybe it's just this season of my life. I've felt overwhelmed and busy for the most part. We haven't taken any vacation. We haven't been to the beach much. BLAH!
My goal for September? BLOG MORE! I don't really blog for anyone to read this, I blog for me. I love writing down things I love and things we do. I have really enjoyed going back and reading my blog posts pre-Parker. I forget what life was like!
Anyway, here are my favorite things from summer:
My favorite summer song! I BELT this one out anytime I hear it. Wow, Adele makes me wish I could sing!
My favorite nail polish color! OPI Chapel Of Love is the perfect shade of pink. It's not dull and it's not bright.
PARKER! I love this little boy! I have really enjoyed watching him grow and change all summer long. He's not a newborn anymore!
Favorite summer food! Spaghetti squash was a summer staple around here. Tom and I have both been watching our diets all summer.
Favorite piece of jewelry! I have not purchased much for myself, but I did buy this at a Stella & Dot party. I love the coral and turquoise together.
Favorite moment! I am so excited about our house. I have no clue what it will look like, as the floor plan is new (this picture is of a neighborhood built by our builder). But it's exciting! We have to go in the morning to select our brick exterior/trim, hardwoods, counter tops, cabinets, etc. !!!!!!!!
Favorite website! Pinterest! I've enjoyed salivating over the food and decor pins! I could spend *hours* on this site!
OK, that just about sums up my summer! Happy September!
