It started out with Tom and I driving Parker to Florida. My parents rented a beach house for the week, so we could all come and take a nice beach vacation. The only problem? I had a trade show that I had to attend and Tom could not take off the entire week. So we dropped Parker off for my mom to watch him while Tom and I went our separate ways. My brother and sister were at the beach, so they were able to pitch in too. I was really sad to leave him.

I made my way to Baltimore Sunday morning. I don't mind traveling for work because I don't have to do it all that often. I had never been to Baltimore, so I was looking forward to discovering a new town. It was fine for a work trip. :)

I don't talk about my job at all, but I work in marketing. My company had a booth set up at a trade show. The opening reception was an 80's theme and they hired several 80's themed celebrity impersonators. KISS, Boy George, Madonna, etc. I just HAD to get my picture taken with one of them. :)
The show was fine and all. Nothing too exciting. I thought about my sweet baby every hour of every day. But I did fine without him. It was actually kind of nice to be on my own and not have to take care of anyone but myself! Sometimes you just need that!

I hightailed it out of MD and flew to the beach. Ahhhhh. This picture just sums up how relaxing it was. The key to enjoying a beach vacation with a baby? Make sure you rent a house with a pool that is directly on the beach! We would take the babies down to the beach and at nap time we would sit by the pool.

This picture sums up my baby! He is the happiest, sweetest thing ever! He loved the beach. :)

My brother cooked for us most of the week. He is so awesome in the kitchen! He has lived in New Orleans for 13 years and this definitely influences the menu! Oh my yum!

Obligatory family beach picture! <3
We really had fun. I love the beach. Give me a pool, beach, Pina colada and my family any day! Those are my favorites!
